Changes to English Proficiency by Oxford Brookes University
Oxford Brookes University has made a significant change in respect of the English Proficiency requirements for the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting.
Oxford Brookes University has aligned its English language requirements with those of the ACCA. Students are no longer required to submit an English language qualification such as IELTS to ACCA for approval. It is hoped that this change removes a significant barrier to participation.
This change has been back-dated and so students that have already completed FR, FM or AA (papers F7, F8 & F9) will still be eligible for the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting if they are within the 10-year rule. You can further contact acca@brookes.ac.uk for further assistance.
Hopefully, this change in the eligibility criteria will help more students to avail the opportunity to get a degree from one of the most prestigious Universities in the UK.
